IoT Conduit Partners with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory for American Made Challenges

The IoT Conduit is honored to be the first National Renewable Energy Laboratory American Made Challenges Solar Prize Connector in Northern New England.  NREL, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and is a leader in energy efficiency research and development, hosts the AMC Solar Prize every year, a $3M competition to energize solar manufacturing and innovation in the U.S.  The IoT Conduit served as a Connector, or mentor, who recruits, funds and empowers talented participants in the competition last year for round 3. We partnered with two competitors and are happy to announce that one, infiniRel, was selected as one of the 10 teams to advance to the final round of the competition. infiniRel, based in Santa Cruz, developed a hardware/software system to monitor solar inverters to detect deterioration and control issues. The IoT Conduit is thrilled to have been a part of their success and wishes them the best in the next stage. NREL has recently announced round 4 of the competition to commence later this year, and the IoT Conduit is looking forward to being a part of the amazing program again and mentoring more innovative technologies in the future.
